Anamorphic Video on K-POP Square for D’strict, 2021

A work specially commissioned by D’strict.

The spatiotemporal essence of a pine forest is relocated within a rectangular frame between the urban forests of buildings.
The individual forms of the trees blend with everyday elements of nature—sun, rain, wind, and mist—creating diverse and vivid images that break through fixed, uniform boundaries to subtly permeate daily perception.
The vague image of nature that everyone carries within them slips into this new time-space, reawakening each person’s buried memories and senses that have lain dormant in the depths of everyday life. _Sara Oh(Curator)
